Masculiminality: A Workshop for Imagining Accountable Masculinities
Time & Location

About the Event
Masculiminality is language created to describe the experience of masculinity at its edges, beneath and between constructs of gender and sexuality. Our current orientation to masculinity is limited to the experience of binary systems like Patriarchy, which solely offers us a model for how to abuse, steal and harm.
In this workshop, we will examine possibilities for how to shape accountable masculinities through a community-oriented lens, while inviting the nuance of masculinities we've left behind or invalidated. We will discuss how we embrace a culture of accountability inside power dynamics, love and relationships, care, anger, and harm through the lens of masculine people.
